Heresy – I’ve had enough

I must inform you that I’ve reached my limit with regard to the antics of the Holy Father.

I will continue to pray for the Holy Father, the man.  Most especially, I pray for his conversion.  But I can no longer remain quiet on his actions. Words have meaning, and the damage is real. I have spent three years in the shadows, only blogging anonymously or commenting anonymously on his multitude of errors, blasphemies, calumnies, and ad hominem attacks.  My silence ends today.

I’m going public, and I’m attaching my name to the truth.  I’m proclaiming that contraception is an intrinsic evil; does he even understand what that means?  I’m proclaiming eugenics as an intrinsic evil.  I’m proclaiming that there is not now, nor has there ever been, a conflict between the Fifth and Sixth Commandment.  I’m proclaiming that a sovereign nation has not just a right, but indeed a duty, to defend its border and protect its citizens.

Oh, and that’s just since Thursday.  Three years of this, and I’m worn out.

Have a look at the quote on our offertory envelopes for the Third Sunday of Lent: “Everyone has his own idea of good and evil, and must choose to follow the good and fight the evil as he conceives them.  That would be enough to make the world a better place.”

I don’t even know where to begin.  This kind of heresy makes the world, in fact, a terrible place; a haven for abortionists, jihadis, and sodomites, all of whom think their actions are good.  This isn’t garden variety heresy, wherein a drop of poison is added to otherwise sound doctrine.  No, this is a whopper.  In short, it’s the opposite of what the Church teaches.  Surely we can find a different envelope supplier.

This blog will remain anonymous, at least for now.  It provides me certain options should things get ugly, which they surely will.  Unfortunately, the main vehicle for my public defense of the faith will need to be facebook.  There is just no other means to get the message out as effectively.  I await with interest to be condemned by my Pollyanna Catholic friends and lauded by the Evangelicals.
I will entrust my actions to these fine saints::

  • “Now when [the Pope] is explicitly a heretic, he falls ipso facto from his dignity and out of the Church, and the Church must either deprive him, or, as some say, declare him deprived, of his Apostolic See.”
St. Francis de Sales, “The Catholic Controversy”
  • “…a pope who is a manifest heretic by that fact ceases to be pope and head, just as he by that fact ceases to be a Christian and a member of the body of the Church; wherefore he can be judged and punished by the Church. This is the judgment of all the early fathers, who teach that manifest heretics immediately lose all jurisdiction.”
St. Robert Bellarmine, “On the Roman Pontiff”
  • “If God permitted a pope to be notoriously heretical and contumacious, he would then cease to be pope, and the Apostolic Chair would be vacant.”
St. Alphonsus de Liguori, “The Truths of the Faith”
So I’m done confessing, as in sacramental Confession, my anger toward the holy father, anger for the damage he is inflicting on the Church, and anger for the danger to souls.  That’s the real reason I need to take a stand:  Souls are at stake.  If Francis chooses to make himself the enemy of Christ and His Church, then he is my enemy as well.  Trust me, I am aware of the gravity of my words, and trust me, I’m terrified.

  1. I understand your frustration and the point you’re making. I read the 1Peter5 article on this yesterday and was worried just as you are. I am a bit cautious about the papacy, in case for some reason he really is just always misunderstood (I don’t think he is, but only God knows). And I’m not theologian. I follow the words and actions of several bishops I trust very deeply (like Bishop Fellay). If they suggest what you’re saying, I think I could accept the consequences. But try to hold on until one of the orthodox and true Catholic Bishops conclude what you say.

    1. You need to further your studies on the teaching of the Catholic Church in regards to the position of a “so called vicar of Christ“ and heresy, idolatry and apostasy…I realize that it’s a tough decision…However remember, it’s a decision that implies your faith and your salvation. Read St Paul in 2 Thess 1…

  2. The Holy See has stepped off the Path to Righteousness and now treads upon the Gospels in their rush for riches & political power in the world of men & nations.
Pope Francis is a product of the Holy See’s indulgences across the world into the machinations of politics and has come to accept that socialism is an easy fit for the poor and ignorant of their flocks and the Socialist Nations indulge the Holy See in return.

  3. God is Truth. If you stand for the truth, you stand for God. Knowing this, how can you be afraid? If He is with us, who can stand against us?

      1. I’m having a hard time, understanding this sudden surge of terror? You have boldly (with God’s grace), stood up to these spiritual miscreants, and surely earned the Lord’s favor. Why, all of a sudden, does terror consume you? More importantly, what can those of us who respect your wisdom, do (in addition to prayer) to help neutralize and expose the mechanics of this terror? I have to believe, God, has your back. As a malnourished seeker of TRUTH, I offer up this prayer. God, protect this dedicated servant, from ALL evils. Allow her light, to shine upon those of us who hunger for your truth. Remove any despair from her company. Make the darkness fear her, and flee from her presence. Lord, she is one of your great beacons for us souls whose footing is uncertain and fearful. Embrace her always, and purge ALL demons seeking to do her any harm. In this your name Dear God, I pray. Amen.

  4. So, now you have an idea what Martin Luther was dealing with 500 years ago. After three years of Francis’ heresies, I’m surprised you’re still clinging to the fallacy of the pope being a so-called “vicar of Christ”. How do you reconcile God choosing Francis to lead the church on earth? I’m seriously curious about that.

    1. The Holy Spirit picks who should be pope, but it is up to the cardinal electors to vote. If the cardinals are not open to the Holy Spirit, this is what we get. Or in this case, it may have all been decided beforehand.

      1. In an earlier reply to another comment, you said “Yes, God is Truth. Christ is God. The Roman Pontiff is the Vicar of Christ on earth. You don’t understand why I’m terrified?” Perhaps only RCs can understand this, but can you explain what exactly terrifies you? Do you consider Francis to be a “vicar of Christ”? How could he be if he is not the Holy Spirit’s “pick”?

        1. Eileen, did you read my comment? The Holy Spirit most certainly knows who should be head of His Church. But the Cardinals vote with their own free will, and they can choose their own will over God’s will.

    2. Dan Bale
God acts in ways that you and I cannot understand, often appearing to be at cross purposes to what we seek in prayer. After all, His idea of something good is something that will get us closer to home, i.e. heaven and our idea of something good is something that is comfortable, easy and enjoyable to the senses. Isn’t it known to all of us that penance and suffering is the way to Heaven? So the suffering of continuing to be shaken up by the goings on in the Church today, of the ridicule heaped upon us by fellow Christians and non-Christians, may not be something that is meaningless. Perhaps, in these disasters, God is offering us ways to salvation, ways to undergo penance and atone for our sins so that we may be soon in Heaven and spend less time in Purgatory. Who knows? Only what we do know is that God always does good for us. Who knows that the Pope’s utterances are not serving as the winnowing chaff to separate those who would abide by the Faith and thus be “not of this world” from those who would happily water down the Faith so as to be “of this world”? One thing I do know: From complete confusion and ugliness God can bring about order and beauty, but we have to trust Him even when there is darkness all around us, perhaps more so when there is darkness surrounding us. Have we forgotten what Jesus said to the disciples in the boat when they woke Him up on being frightened by the storm that raged around them? “Why are you terrified, you of little faith?” (Mt:8-26). So, it is possible that God is allowing these things to make us stronger in our Faith. Dan, you see, God could have very good reasons for allowing Pope Francis to be His Vicar.

    3. It is like when the Emperor, people were afraid to speak out and say he has no clothes. But it isn’t just an Emperor, it is a representative of Christ on Earth, and so the stakes are much higher than just looking silly. If you are wrong, and you lead others astray with you, it is a serious matter. Which is why so much caution and the need to be absolutely sure the Pope is a heretic before speaking out.
Plenty of other Catholics have been sure and have been speaking out for a long time. Unfotunately, thanks to the liberals taking over the seminaries and watering down Catholic education, the majority of Catholics simply don’t know the faith anymore.

  5. The Church cannot teach error, nor do we have to judge her teachings with suspicion. No, it only means that these men are outside the Church for their heresies. The Catholic Church cannot be an ark of damnation. Hence these men are leaders in a counterfeit church. It’s a hard saying, but the Holy Catholic Church is in the catacombs and underground again. The world recognises these men as Catholic because they wear costumes and show Catholic externals.

  6. I agree (Heresy–I’ve Had Enough). Whenever I used to see a photo or video of Pope John Paul II or Pope Benedict, I saw character, virtue, in their faces, and I felt admiration. But when I look at Pope Francis, I feel no admiration. I see no character in his face. I don’t want to offend anyone, but this is how I feel. Then when I hear reports of things the Pope has said or done, such as “Who am I to judge?” (He is the head of the Catholic Church–and he should not judge?) I feel dismayed. I heard that the Pope commented that after the child Jesus had been missing and Mary and Joseph had found him in the Temple after searching for three days, Jesus must have had to beg forgiveness from his parents for “this escapade.” If Pope Francis said this, I consider it blasphemy, as it implies that Jesus had done something wrong–whereas, he, Jesus, was carrying out the will of his Father. I am sure that there was a reason for Jesus’ behavior (just as there was a Divine reason for everything that he did), and that God had a reason for allowing Mary and Joseph to suffer the distress of losing their son for three days.
It is the same with many of the current Pope’s words and actions–they seem to go against the traditional practices and teachings of the Church. Therefore, I suspect Francis as not being a true Pope–I am waiting to see if he tries to change the actual doctrines of the Church, and that would be a sign that he is the false prophet.
In addition, there is a priest in Italy who says that Pope Benedict had been forced to resign from the papacy. (There is a video about this on Youtube which people may be able to locate if they search for it.)

    1. According to the research done by the author(s) of the article I link here, international bankers allied with homosexual clergy in high places gave Benedict an ultimatum: resign, or they would punish the whole Catholic Church by completely shutting down the Vatican Bank, which would mean a cutoff of funds to the Church’s charities and missions all over the globe (since the funds collected for those activities flow through the Vatican Bank).
      This article is a MUST-READ: https://akacatholic.com/money-sex-and-modernism/

    2. I have been thinking for a while that Pope Benedict is our true Pope, and Francis is an anti-pope. (I can’t believe I’m writing this! Jesus, Mercy on us ALL!)

    3. You don’t need a PHD in theology to understand that a man who is supposedly a pope that teaches doctrine that is contradiction with the teachings of God through Revelation is not Catholic. We need to remember the following dogma: Whosoever puts to doubt or contradicts one dogma of the Catholic Church loses the faith and puts himself outside the Catholic Church. Christ promised that the forces of evil will not prevail against the Church. (force of heresy) A true pope cannot teach error…This is clear…

  7. I find myself attached to a holy priest in a small parish…it sustains my faith. Prelates with few notable exceptions are modernists and relativistic. Not the truth that doesn’t waiver. Preservation mode is activated. I pity those who are forced into a modern church with no alternatives.

  8. If it makes you feel any better, we Jews have many among us who believe whatever is between their ears and that the Torah is just a collection of interesting “stories.”

  9. I was raised Irish RC and attended parochial school until junior high. I was confirmed. I do not have any hostility towards the people of the RC church, quite the opposite.
However the Second Vatican Council changes proved beyond any reasonable doubt that the RC church is a work of man not of GOD.
    That’s when we left it.
Imo the last three bishops of Rome have all been apostates who seek one world religion at the cost of Christianity.
This one is the worst one so far.
I pray for you all every day that you will understand what danger these mere men who run your church put your eternal souls into with their so called “ecumenicalism”, AND that you will do something about it very soon.
No human can earn salvation by works or any other way, it is totally GOD’S gift only.
    Bless you ALL.

    1. The Second Vatican Council taught no Doctrine. Its errors will someday be corrected, as has happened in the past. I agree it is most unfortunate. In fact I agree with almost everything you said Steve J. However, you can’t possibly believe that the Church was the Church for 1900+ years, but then the “gates of Hell will not prevail” expired in 1962.

      1. I have studied the history of the RC church for decades and I am sorry to say that I do not believe that once the church was past the apostolic time that it was ever again the so called “true church”. This is because of the mere men who controlled it. That happened long before 1962.
As merely one example you cannot seriously, from a Christ centered viewpoint, defend the selling of indulgences.
Not to mention the rest of the 91 thesis’s.
I understand, from a RC “education” what the division of the so called “laity” from the priesthood is and how it is supposed to work.
        Yet the Lord sayeth;
        Matthew 7
“15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”
I do NOT mean to insult you, but history will not spin. This current bishop of Rome is apostate even unto RC doctrine. Not that I would ever expect any devoted RC to admit that simple fact especially to a non-RC person.
        God Bless us ALL.

    2. Your “wolf in sheep’s clothing” argument as to why you think the Church did not last past the Apostolic age does not hold water. Not to mention it makes Jesus a liar when He said the “gates of Hell would not prevail”. If hell overcame it in the Apostolic age how do you explain His words? So by your own argument there couldn’t even have been a valid Apostolic Church since one of the hand picked Apostles of Jesus was a wolf. If the fruit of some are thistles and thorns they will be judged by God, but that does not make the whole Church null and void as we can clearly see by the good fruit of the other Apostles. How does your argument against the validity of the Catholic Church make any other non-Catholic Church more right and valid than the Catholic Church? Are Protestants somehow sinless and free from error? Martin Luther sure as heck wasn’t. A lot of his own followers turned against him because he was such a hateful foul mouthed man. One of his closest supporters turned on him and said he was possessed by a demon. Your reasoning is extremely faulty. God works through flawed men and in spite of them. Note the Apostles. He is not hindered because certain parts of the tree are diseased. Jesus Himself said those unfruitful vines would be pruned. He didn’t say the whole tree would be cut down because He Himself is a part of it. “I am the vine you are the branches”. The Apostolic Church lives on because of Him and His promise. I suggest you try reading the writings of the early Church Fathers of the first centuries after Christ. And by the way, it has never ever in 2000yrs been official Church teaching or doctrine that indulgences could be sold. Again, the thorns and thistles of some does not invalidate the whole. Just like with Francis, no matter what he says or does, the official teachings of the Magesterium that were given to us by Jesus and the Apostles can never be changed unlike what pretty much all of the Protestant Churches have done in caving to the culture one after another on issue after issue.
      P. S. The Church has never taught that you can earn salvation by works alone but with St James (2:17) proclaims “So faith by itself, if it has no works, it is dead. But someone will say, ‘You have faith and I have works.’ Show me your faith apart from your works, and I by my works will show you my faith. You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe-and shudder. [and are not saved in spite of their belief because they do not have GOOD works to accompany that belief] Do you want to be shown, you foolish fellow, that faith apart from works is barren? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he offered his son Isaac upon the altar? You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by works.” Etc through verse 26.

  10. this is shaping up as the gravest crisis since the western schism— when the church didnt know who was the pope, or if indeed there was one.

  11. John 14:6 (KJV):
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
I can’t find anything about Popes, Cardinals, Bishops or the saints in there.
What arrogance leads any mortal man, or group of men, to proclaim that they alone are the gateway to salvation and have the authority to open and close that gate at will? And for purposes directly related to their own personal or political advancement, often in total disregard of God Himself?
I expect this question to be summarily deleted without the slightest attempt to address it. This is only further proof of the arrogance of which I speak.
Fortunately I no longer need to fear arrest, torture or death for my ‘heresy’.

    1. Really, Bruce M Grant? Mt 16:18-19: And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

  12. Stay strong, my friend in Christ, for you are not alone. I will be praying for you. Our parish literally stopped the second collections because of nonsense like this. Therefore, I do not see the heresies of the second collections. “If you make my word your home you will indeed be my disciples; you will come to know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

  13. Steve J
All of Luther’s theses were about the selling of indulgences and the Catholic Church never taught that it was permissible.

  14. Which “ex cathedra” statement do have a problem with? Speaking as a man, the Pope IS entitled to opinions and thought development, just as you are. I will pray for you brother. Intellectual pride is a serious temptation!

    1. Larry, he hasn’t made any ex cathedra statements, as you know. Your point seems to be that “off the cuff” don’t constitute magisterial teaching, so it doesn’t matter. My point is, it does matter, because he is putting souls at great risk. His musings aren’t about football or daisies — this is about settled doctrine. As for intellectual pride, I do appreciate the prayers, but I’m afraid the troubles could be seen by a properly catechised high schooler of fifty years ago.

  15. How do you know docmxoo1 that he is putting souls at risk? And at risk of what? Losing their salvation or something else? This seems to be at the root of everyone’s hysteria over the Pope’s “off the cuff” answers while being interviewed. If you could see that he is not putting souls at any more “risk” than we place ourselves, inasmuch as we are all in a pathetic, chronic state of sin, would you change your stance?

    1. Hen, yes we are all pathetic sinners. The problem is that this man is confirming people in their sins. Hey, sinner, out there on the “margins”, stay right there, don’t change, the Church needs to come meet you where you are. This is mercy without the need for contrition. It’s false.

  16. You guys need to chill out. Have a cold one, mix up a frozen one, chill. All human institutions are inherently corrupt because they are…human. People come and go, often thinking they live at a special time in history or under unique conditions. Let’s call that centrism. It is a false perception arising in the need for primacy, or at least importance. Thus speak the intellectual leaders who enjoy their own voices, probe the dynamics of their unformulated thought, and generally bother the hell out of people who see the intellectual leaders as nut jobs. Popes, like film stars, come and go. So what? They opine, they wander, they engage in centrism. They are human. If the RC Church has positives it is often found in the coincidental good that comes from those masterpieces called Gospels – the antithesis of centrism. Humility is a powerful engine, but hard to start. Humility is a form of self eradication. One cannot engage the dance of centrism and be humble, just as the insane cannot grasp reality. So this Pope likes to play centrism. Relax; he inspires more in opposition to his antics than the harm he does. He is a caricature, a phantom on the stage of world socialism. Nice, thoughtless words for an audience of self laudatory socialist dullards. So tune him in or out, but enjoy the show. If Stalin and Henry VIII, Diocletian and Mao could not wipe out the RC, this Pope begets himself as comedy; another day, another episode. His opposition, if you follow RC doctrine, is not a bunch of saint smart asses (compliments to Aquino), but their Boss, who didn’t write anything. From millstones to paracletes under blasphemy, the doctrine survives them all. So relax. This guy’s run will end some day. He’ll be forgotten, pushed into obscurity by doctrine. He can’t hurt it, change it, smear it or color it to his fancy.
Have a drink. Don’t be a centrist, don’t inflate the times; walk the dog.
OK, so you don’t drink. Try this: imagine you are casting for a film about the Pope. Major production, lot of dough on the screen. Who do you cast? I’d consider Andy Warhol; maybe Stan Laurel (man oh man, they look alike); maybe Mel Brooks, maybe Ida Lupino (apologies to Le Grand Ida), maybe a young David Bowie, hmmmmm, and maybe either of the Gish Sisters, no, on second thought, only Lillian. Well, no, of course not Garbo, but maybe Harold Lloyd.
The film will be like a Tarantino thriller, lot of emoting, lot of dialogue, but nothing happens. Then, when the film is over, no one cares – and wonders what all the noise was about.
Whereupon the audience wonders what’s playing next week. Inherent corruption with coincidental good inspired by the Gospels – that’s the RC Church, an impossible act for a centrist to beat.

    1. I’m sorry but I don’t see the Apostles or any of the Saints taking that kind of an attitude. I don’t believe we should worry ourselves into an ulcer over it but to just flippantly and casually ignore it like it’s no big deal is wrong. This man, who is in an important and authoritative position for us Catholics, is leading people to believe things that are contrary to the Faith and will lead them to hell. Souls are at stake here.

  17. I comepletely agree with the original post. There is also a quote floating around Facebook from the Pope’s Mexico trip that will horrify you as well. We attend a small church run by the Fraternity. At confirmation class a few weeks ago, Father was giving a lecture about the fact that “No one can do evil, even so that good may come of it”. He gave lots of examples where a misguided compassion might lead one to fall into the “lesser of two evils” justification. I happen to live in El Paso, so our city was shut down while the Pope was in Juarez and he was the top story in the local news for a week. After the infamous plane presser was made known, I was immediately grateful for the recent lecture my girls got from our Priest concerning “no evil that good may come”. At least when the ABC/Zika virus papal proclamation came out, my kids were prepared with knowledge that this is NOT church teaching. How many confirmation students in this country were equally prepared?

  18. Love those around you. Baptize your children. Confess your sins. Partake in the Eucharist.
But on matters of teaching, concern your conscience only with those teachings which require you to act. God is concerned with our works and our faithful submission to his will; there are, for most of us, many better uses of our time than debating theology.
Pray for the Pope, but worry only about your own sins.

  19. Guest your words are so wrong I don’t quite know where to begin. For one that is an extremely self-centered selfish attitude and one Jesus would condemn. It’s sort of reminds me of the attitude some took at the sinking of the Titanic when they refused to share lifeboats with other people and so many people needlessly drowned. How many people will be needlessly lost to the devil by “worrying about your own sin”. Does that mean then that you follow Francis’ doctrine of not proselytizing which btw, is not forced, the definition (taken from Merriam-Webster) is: to try to persuade people to join a religion, cause, or group. I think you could use a good healthy dose of reading the Church Fathers, Doctors, Popes, Saints and Council Documents, you know the 2000yr Magisterium before Francis. Here’s a link for you written by a group of priests debunking Francis’ statement of “Should you go and convince someone else that he should become Catholic? No, no, no! Go and encounter him, he is your brother! And this is enough.” (Video-Message on the feast of Saint Cajetan, August 7, 2013) Here’s from the Table of Contents of their article on what the Magisterium says in opposition to Francis:
    John Paul II
    – Today conversion is seen as ‘proselytizing’ – overlooking each person’s right has to hear the Good News
    – The Pope has the power to teach, govern and sanctify with the authority of Jesus Christ himself
    Sacred Scripture
    – One should evangelize regardless of the obstacles
    – Paul fears for himself if he does not preach the Gospel
    Gregory XVI
    – Uprightness alone, when separated from the Church, does not gain salvation
    Pius IX
    – Conciliators are enemies of the Church
    Leo XIII
    – One who seeks to satisfy a heretic, grows closer to him
    Vatican Council II
    – The duty of the Church and the faithful is to teach and fulfill all that Christ commands
    Paul VI
    – In dialogue with others, we should guard ourselves from the contamination of their errors
Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith
    – The relativism of our days is not a motive to cease the Church’s evangelizing activity
As you can clearly see, sticking to yourself is not the answer or Catholic teaching. You can read the rest at https://en.denzingerbergoglio.com/proselytism-is-downright-nonsense-it-doesnt-make-any-sense/

    1. I have shared that website as well and I love how well researched it is with long quotes and links to previous Popes, Doctors of the Church, Saints, Church Councils, etc. I’ve been saving everything they publish. I was just wondering though if you get flack from people when you recommmend that site?
I have, including a deacon once who was trying to spin something of Francis’, I think it was Amoris Lætitia, in a positive light. I hadn’t even replied to him but to someone else and he jumped in and started asking if they were diocesan or religious order (like it matters?). Kept grilling me on them even after I gave him the link. I finally asked him why he hadn’t looked for himself, did he think he was going to get a virus? Then he started mocking their being anonymous. I was able to shut him up about that when I mentioned how Mother Angelica was hounded by Cardinal Mahoney for yrs over her publicly criticizing him on his rather blasphemous statement about the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. Raymond Arroyo himself has said the stress of it caused her first stroke. So then he moves on to jeering at them for a blog where they compared Obama to Francis because he praised that Italian abortionist but then couldn’t answer me as to why Francis did that.
Another guy today wrote back he didn’t find what they wrote “believable” (I found it hard to believe he actually tried to read anything) and found it hard to believe that “real priests” would go through praying for Francis in the Eucharistic prayer and then “backstab him” by writing this stuff. That “stuff” is not theirs but the writings of the Magisterium for the last 2000 yrs put side by side with Francis’ innovations.
It just blows my mind that otherwise faithful Catholics are so afraid to see what Francis is really saying or they have some twisted view that infallibility means defending the Pope to the death (his or theirs) even if that means he speaks heresy.
I saw someone post in a comment a few days ago that he would follow this pope to hell. He thought the previous poster had said something to the effect that faithful Catholics should leave the Church because of Francis which the poster had not said he had merely stated that we were most likely in the Great Apostasy meaning that other people were believing things contrary to the faith. It’s funny how people misread or misinterpret things or maybe not.
